The three understandings

The Three understandings are:
1."Philosophies of leadership are determined by beliefs about human nature."
2."The governed have a responsibility for their governance."
3."Human Nature does not determine our actions,: it inclines us towards us towards certain actions."

The first understanding means that what an individual believes about human nature influences  their view on leadership. If they think that all humans are moral (like Locke), then their philosophy on leadership will probably be one with a society in which  a leader can rule with justice and equality. Likewise, if you agree with me and think that humans are immoral and selfish, then your view on leadership will probably be that a leader needs to who can ...

The second understanding means that the ruled have a responsibility for their ruler. They have the power to change
